Inkscapes default is to save SVGs without any background unless you added one. For best results choose an image where the subject has clear edges with nothing overlapping. You also dont set any value for fill on the element and the default is black. It cant take a path though and what weve created for vector points in Photoshop is path dataIt could take a polygon though if we made all the lines straight.
