Why Are My Svg Files So Big. It is literally like 16 rectangles and the size is less than 100 x 100. I use Debian 10 with KDE desktop.
Sometimes they are so large that they take forever to load and in that case normally if you wait for it to load which sometimes seems like forever it eventually will and then you can resize it. When I attempt to open it Inkscape hangs and fills up the RAM the only exit is reboot REISUB. My experiences with svg files are kind of limited but as uxaapje mentioned a link to the file would be helpful in deducing any problems but my gut tells me youre using a smaller artboard size when opening the file as well as having some text-scale-retention turned on in your preferences and thats not playing well with this svg file.
I have a big SVG file 200MB.
I use Debian 10 with KDE desktop. The Bitmap files are much larger in size because the image consists of pixels. So Tinkercad will expand the image by 2835 which is why you need to reduce the import to 1 2835 or 35. Thanks for any help.
